The Department of Tourism adapts the guidelines of the new normality with one of the most popular routes, which will have a limit of participants and registration through a form
Hellin. 24 June 2020.- The Department of Tourism of Hellín this week takes up the routes that have been stopped for three months due to the pandemic and does so with one of the most demanded by the participants: the tour of several streets of the old town and the visit to the recently remodeled convent of the Franciscans. The routes will also release the "Responsible Tourism" seal certified by the Ministry and which is also adapted to the guidelines of the objective #HellínDestinoSeguro.
The Councilor for Tourism began, María Jesús López, to explain that they will be routes «that have the protocol of the new normality, with use of mask and safety distance, and you will have to avoid contacts and greetings as well as sharing water bottles, scarves, etc. Of course, people with symptoms will not be able to do the route ».
The route will take place on Saturday at six in the afternoon, with the possibility of organizing another one on Sunday if there is enough demand. Tourism technician, Marian Martínez, He explained that "the route will go through some of the most emblematic streets of the old town and the itinerary will reach Plaza de San Francisco, where the Franciscan Convent is located. A jewel that we have in Hellín whose construction began in the year 1524 and that we remember a year ago restored its cover and much of the interior. We will finish again in the Plaza de la Iglesia where attendees can regain strength in El Rabal, street that is semi-pedestrianized and decorated by neighbors and merchants ».
